DMC’s Professional Audio and Video Studios
Description: Tour our professional studios where students, faculty, and staff can experiment, research, and develop techniques in audio and video production.

DMC Resources to Support Teaching and Learning with Audio and Video
Description: Explore Groundworks Media Lab (equipment checkout, recording booth, drawing tablets and more), the Multimedia Workrooms (for higher end video editing and podcasting) and the Personal Studio (to create publication-ready videos at the push of a button).  Bonus:  meet our media workshop presenters.

DMC’s Newest Learning Places: The Fabrication Underground + Design Labs 1 & 2
Description: The Design Labs are brand new collaborative learning classrooms in the heart of the Duderstadt Center, featuring technologies that promote interdisciplinary showcasing, sketching and prototyping.  The Fabrication Underground, located on the lower level, is an expanded version of the former Fabrication Studio, with more resources for classes, more specialty 3D printers, and more general fabrication tools.

Nexus Studios
Description: Come explore how to use advanced classroom equipment to elevate the learning experience for both in-person and remote students. This Nexus tour will feature HD quality A/V, seamless Zoom integration, and recordable content capabilities, as well as showcase how to support live event streaming that allows individuals worldwide to access university events. We will also demo innovative lightboard technology and connectivity to wall screens. Overall, this Nexus tour aims to provide a comprehensive look into the future of engineering education, focusing on the technology-driven learning experience offered to both students and instructors at the University of Michigan.

Conference Room Tour – 1120A, 1120B, or 1120D
Description: We welcome you to take a look at the ITS Zoom Room conference room solution. This easy to use conference room solution is popping up all around campus and is quickly becoming a favorite amongst CAEN staff. Dive into a meeting, ask questions, and consider an ITS Zoom Room for your next conference room upgrade.

T1V/Interactive Displays
Description: Interactive Display (T1V ThinkHub) systems are a multiuser software application designed to help teams to ideate, visualize, and problem solve. These displays are bring-your-own-device-friendly, meaning your team or class can tap into the power of T1V from any device (laptop, tablet, smart phone, etc.) in the room or remote.

Classroom Tech Demo
Description: Get the chance to try some of our new and interesting technology for classrooms in a hands on demo. We will be featuring our new Snapshot mode application where you can show different materials on two screens.
